Telecommunications
Residents are responsible for organising their own land line telephone and internet connections. Generally, this will require the service provider to visit both the resident's premises and the communications room located on the first floor.

When scheduling a visit by the service provider's technician, please note the Building Managers' hours of work, as he will need to be contacted to arrange entry into the secure communications room so that the technician can access the Main Distribution Framework (MDF).

Additionally, the technician may need to locate the Internal Distribution Frame (IDF) within the apartment. This is a small grey box normally located near the electrical circuit breaker panel or the gas metering device. The IDF connects the various wall sockets within each apartment.
