Utilities
This section explains how the main services are connected to the building and fed to your apartment. The Building Manager is able to amplify on any of the services.

Telephone
Contact your preferred supplier for a land line connection.

Electricity
The ACT has a limited number of energy providers. The main three are
ACTEW, Origin Energy and Energy Australia. These retailers provide the connection, meter reading and billing of your power supply. It is advisable to check out and compare power supply rates and offers before selecting or changing your supplier.

Gas
Individual connection is required as the gas supply to your kitchen cook top is supplied through a separate, remotely read meter.

Hot Water
Hot water is supplied from a central system in the building, but usage is metered and is reflected in the apartment's gas account.

Television/Internet
The building is wired for free-to-air television and the internet. Each apartment has a number of aerial and internet connections. See the telecommunication page for arranging internet and cable service connections.
